Having been a boating enthusiast for most of my adult life, I've had the pleasure of owning more than a half dozen boats. I supervised in the build of three of them. For this reason, I was looking for a boat manufacturer who could provide a semi custom build in which I could participate.

I took delivery of my Symbol 55 Classic in March of 2009 and after a month of commissioning and electronics installation, I now have the pleasure of cruising this fine vessel. The boat is everything I expected and more. I can see the benefits of my two trips to the factory, and I appreciate the comments from other boating friends at the marina where my boat is docked.

While at the factory in Taiwan, I found Jimmy Cheng and his staff to be always available, willing to shop for products, listen to my concerns and give advice when necessary.

This has been a most enjoyable experience from beginning to end.
